I bought an Ideal Dodge pickup nib and I thought how easy it would be to put a US 1 Chassis under it.

It got a Hemi? :D
I guess it has enough clearance for the motor and weight, unlike the Tyco Chevy stepsides with the rollbar.
Now you need to do the Ideal General lee and Roscoe's cop car. I used to pick those sets up at garage sales and flea markets and you couldn't give them or the cars away, now they're big bucks because the wokesters cancelled the General Lee and everybody wants them. :ROFLMAO:

I did do some shaving inside around the exhaust pipe area, and added some small pieces of plastic one the sides for a skirt. I had a General Lee, I sold it when the prices went up so high.

I'd paint it red and turn it into a Dodge Little Red Wagon, but those came out a couple of years later than the slot car?
Dodge ripped off Ideal? :D

I remember those. I knew a girl in high school that drove one.

Little Red Express I think? A guy I know bought one new. Back in the olden days during high school I picked up a '55 Ford Customline 2 door sedan and stuck in a Ford 390 with a three on the knee, that car was fast and ugly.

I said it was ugly.

I had a Mopar once, a '64 Dodge 330, it burned up in the guy's driveway the day after I sold it to him. That fine Mopar wiring, then he actually wanted his money back. :ROFLMAO:
