Here is my rarer 3336 Empire Trucking set. Released in 1983 as JCP’s second rehash of the 3226 set. IMO is the biggest set made. I base that on that it has 3 trailers, over the 3226 having 2. I have seen 3 or 4 of these on eBay.
It has 10 accessories, 3415, 3420, 3425, 3436, 3440, 3450, 3455, 3460, 3465. It uses a 3902 and 3904, and a 3925, 3931, and 3946.
Not shown, but I do have 7 3768’s (Highway lights) for it, and I’ve contemplating adding a Danger Track, Airport, Fire Station, and Garage to it.
In that regard, it just then becomes a “home built” set, in which case I could build a “set” with 70+ accessories, that takes up every room in the house with 350+ track pieces. I’d much rather just keep it factory, I think, but have the option to add more to it. But then I don’t even use my sets, so.. IDK… LOL
This is the second generation 3425, where the light grey mechanism was changed to darker grey.
This set has a scaled distance of 1,433 feet, so because of the extra accessory, it bearly nudges the 3320 in “mileage”.
