I wanted to do this for a while. I got a Greenlight Suburban with boat and trailer and took the hitch off the truck and attached it to a US-1 chassis. I took out one of the mounting screws for the boat and replaced it with a machine screw and filed it down to make a guide pin for the trailer. The truck body I painted white to match the boat and gave it chrome sidepipes with bare metal foil. It works great, took it around my track a couple of hundred times and no problems, it even backs up okay. The trailer just sits on the hitch but it's metal and heavy so it stays attached. Now I'll have to find a place for a lake on my layout , lol.
