Cool.

The one that really matches good is the Coca-Cola tanker and the red Peterbilt with the white stripes, the early painted truck is an even better match for color.

I agree. The loose Coke trailer I had I gave to my Coke collectible loving Auntie. So I have no loose one, but been contemplating ripping open the 3061B I have to also get the Roadway box trailer. I had one of those loose at one point also but IDK where it is currently.

I didn’t have any 03’s or ‘04’s in my cases, but I got into my stripped/broke stuff and actually was able to build out three entire cars.

Not to mention probably everyone has a 3901-3904 so I wanted to post up some of the lesser known trucks. I forgot about the Shell trailer and it’s blackish grey base, that would go well with the 3909 and 3939..

I absolutely love the painted body cars. I tried to only buy those, where possible, and use them for my sets. Putting a molded in color body next to a painted one, well, I don’t think I need to explain. As well as how much better the plating on the chrome parts is. I have some bodies and the chrome is just horrible, almost to the point it looks like it was molded from a silver plastic and not plated.

Also a little know fact, the early painted trucks have a rear weight with a hole in the 5th wheel plate. So I make sure that I use those weights on the painted trucks as well.
