    Added a few trees to my layout

    You have sun there? lol. Stuck in the drizzly remnants of the hurricane up here in northeast Ohio. I would have painted them there barrels white, now I know better.

    The black ones normally go for less but not always. I've seen messed up ones with stains or discoloration go for a lot less than normal. If you aren't a purist you can paint them gray.

    Yes you have to add the metal rails. I used the rails from some track with broken tabs. I don't know what you could use other than old rails, it's no big deal to remove them then cut them to length with sidecutters and glue them in place from the bottom with some E6000.

    Is it the same color as the wrecker billboard? It looks like it's more of a red color. I found out about the billboard being in that train set in the Tyco US-1 Wiki.

    3-D Printed 3443 Disabled Car pickup

    I used Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Paint+Primer spray. The color is Satin Stone Gray. It's made to bond to plastic. I use it on black track to turn it gray too. It isn't an exact match but close enough.

    I like the dude waiting for the wrecker with the boom box for his tunes. Wait until he gets the bill for a heavy wrecker to put that Firebird on the hook. I have the same track and it does work fine. I sanded the 3D printer grooves out of mine and painted it to match the track a little better.

    That sign is probably from the Chef Boy-Ar-Dee train set. My landlord years ago was a chef and Chef Boy-Ar-Dee was his good buddy. He told me he got his start making prepared meals for prisons.

    I like the yeller ones, to each their own. Does Tyco make gray ones? I have some generic gray ones and they don't clip onto the track well and interfere with the trailers when they swing out around the corners and deslot them. I had a littler trouble with the wrecker rear tires on the ends...

    My track looked bare without guardrails to me so I added 70 of them. Now it looks more like a real highway. Tested with several different type US-1 vehicles and trailers and they all clear okay. They're genuine Tyco guardrails, some of the knock-offs are too close to the track and the vehicles...
