The black ones normally go for less but not always. I've seen messed up ones with stains or discoloration go for a lot less than normal. If you aren't a purist you can paint them gray.

Hindsight is 20/20. Would have been plenty of other items that are now worthless.

It's so weird it's on the wrong card!
This one was interesting, and in person it appears this was sealed at the factory. The plastic part is the correct shape for the track, but the package is the wrong track. Anyone ever seen this? I was able to get two of these. The track is definitely new and unused. The second piece in in route. I will be using them both on my display and I paid the same or less as one without the package and since the package is in poor condition, I did not mind opening it.
