I have the problem that the controller doesn't work properly. I watched the video about the loose connection in the controller, Mike posted. I found the "fray" in one of the connection cables. But not in the others. Anyway, not a big deal to replace them. But my question, HOW can i get them out, and the new wire IN the copper attachement? The copper attachements, i have circled yellow in the picture. All the help and advise is welcome. Thanks in advance.

They should all be crimp style connectors. You can take a small flathead screwdriver and pry those type connectors enough to get the wires out. Also, the use of plastic welds is common to hold things in place on the trucks and accessories.

Ps here is the referenced repair video if anyone else needs it.

So just pry them open. I will do my best. Thanks Mike. And i will let you know if it worked...

Here is a better look. FYI that entire wire assembly will come out. Just take photos before you disassemble! Tyco varied some in manufacturing process too!

Absolutely ! TAKE PICTURES before disassamble! I was so clever to do this also, and boy.. it helps. The copper connectors can be preyed open, but assembling again is another thing. I soldered it. And it works perfect. So happy trucker again...it runs well after the repairing.
