Rare #3908 Peterbilt "PB" truck auction

This one does not come up for sale often. Let's guess the winning bid. I will guess 139.00. On a side note, I don't understand why Tyco put the baby blue stripe on it. Doesn't match the color scheme IMHO.

Kind of interesting that the second PB truck that was not in as good shape went for more money.
I tried getting this one but it just went to high in my opinion. And the seller is located 15 minutes from me. Oh well. will get one someday.

Kind of interesting that the second PB truck that was not in as good shape went for more money.

My guess, whoever missed out on the first one paid up, knowing another one may not come up for sale for months. There are quite a few new collectors, too, one with deep pockets overseas who will pay whatever is necessary to get the rare items. I think patience is vital, so you are on the right track. I will pay up, but only if the condition is good! Condition is EVERYTHING when it comes to vintage toys.

I could not believe that this year, I was able to buy the PB truck, Black/Gold Peterbilt, and Blue Coastal truck at the same time. I circled all the trucks/trailers I wanted via email. It's a little risky buying direct, but I always talk to them over the phone.
