US1 Comic Books!

Here's something interesting. I don't know if I'm late to the party or not, but I found some US1 comic books. I have all the 1983 issues in their prestine state and they are pretty cool! I'm guessing these were more promo items to help push sales but what a nice edition to the collection! I don't remember these as a kid in the 80's but here they are.

TYCO was one of the biggest toy makers in the world, no doubt this was some sort of coordinated effort. I never heard about the comics when I was a kid.

I like fact that these are real DC Comics and not some cheap knock off. Either way, they make a good collector item to go along with everything else US1. If anyone has additional info on these, please fill me in. Thanks for checking it out!
